Legendary hip-hop group Beastie Boys have announced their return with the long awaited album ‘Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2’. For those that they have missed Part 1, have no fear, due to delays it was never actually released. Sending out a somewhat confused message to their fans, the band explained that ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part 2′ would be comprised of the same tracks originally slated for inclusion on ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part 1′. It’s a move that shows the band hasn’t lost their mischievous sense of humour, despite now being in their forties.

Another Beastie production that’s currently pinging around social networks is the trailer for ‘Fight For Your Right – Revisited’; an extended video that features some of the biggest names in comedy. Bringing together the likes of Seth Rogan, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly and Danny McBride, the film catches up with the beer-guzzling, frat boy ‘Licensed To Ill’ era Beasties Boys. The hilarious trailer reveals the band encounter an equally obnoxious, future version of themselves and engage in a vicious dance battle.

The film will accompany the release of the album on May 3rd, with the band offering a range of physical and digital bundles through their website.

Despite filling arenas around the world, U2 have never played Glastonbury before so it’s an almost certainty that their set will be one of the most memorable of the weekend.

While this news proved the perfect Monday morning antidote for many ticket holders, some of the festivals regular goers may be slightly less than enthused about the prospect of seeing Bono strut along the Pyramid Stage. However the key to Glastonbury’s success has always been its versatility, while U2 are the only band announced so far; it’s safe to assume Michel Eavis already has his eye on a few other potential targets. We weigh up a few of the other possible contenders…
