If anyone caught Booka Shade‘s set at Lovebox festival, you may have been slightly perturbed at the fact that their set got cut short. Due to the sheer weight of people who’d forced into the tent to try and watch them, organisers were forced to stop the duo’s set. The team behind Lovebox commented:
“The decision of the safety authorities to shut down the tent was made for cautionary reasons and we share everyone’s frustration and disappointment at being denied the chance to enjoy Booka Shade experience in full. With this in mind we are able to announce that Booka Shade will be playing a special one off late license 2am affair at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town on Friday 10th September.”

Tiffany Page may not be a household name as yet, but her spiky guitar infused pop certainly makes her one to watch over the course of the next few months. Following in the footsteps of famous fem-rockers such as Chrissie Hynde and Shirley Manson, Tiffany’s music has been striking a major chord with Radio 1 DJ’s and fans of melodic rock and roll. After a sold out show last year, revered DJ Tiësto returns to London’s Victoria Park this summer. Last year’s event attracted more than 25,000 clubbers and this summer’s event is likely to follow suit. While the Dutch DJ would probably be enough of a draw himself, the lineup is bolstered by a special appearance from Australian stadium dance behemoths Pendulum.
However, the line up doesn’t stop there; Tiësto has also pulled in some of the world’s finest DJ talent, spread across three other arenas. When it comes to top DJ talent, the USA has always had an embarrassment of riches.
