Our $25,000 Sweepstakes Winner Is…
Late last year we ran a sweepstakes where our fans could tag any track for the chance to win a cash prize of $25,000 and meet Grammy-winner Kelly Clarkson! And… drumroll please… the winner is… Devon Morrow!
Last week Devon and friend Justine headed to Club Nokia in Los Angeles, (pictured here with Kelly and Shazam’s David Jones) to meet Kelly and receive the check. Here’s what Devon herself had to say about not only winning the cash prize but getting this once in a lifetime opportunity.
“When we were face-to-face with Kelly Clarkson my mind went crazy, here was this person I had been following for over 10 years standing in front of me. Her face lit up when she realized I was the Shazam contest winner – she loves the app and uses it to learn about new music! It was great to chat with her for a bit and when she handed me the $25,000 prize she was just as excited to give it to me as I was about receiving it!
It’s still hard to put into words what it means to have won – I never thought in my wildest dreams that I’d win such an amazing prize. It’s truly been life-changing.”
