New Music First! Delorean
Delorean craft a sun drenched blend of Balearic tinged dance, indie and pop that will undoubtedly resonate with many during the (hopefully) warm summer months. The band was picked up by True Panther Sounds – home to Girls, Glasser and Lemonade - after a jaw dropping set at last year’s Primavera Festival.
Their latest album, ‘Subiza’, has been stuck on our office stereo for the past few weeks and is currently available on iTunes. By taking a wide range of influences, Delorean have produced a welcome album that screams out to soundtrack the finer parts of the year. Those who found pleasure in the intoxicating melodies of Animal Collective’s ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’ will find plenty to enjoy here.
The band have also remixed The xx, Lemonade and The Big Pink – giving ‘Too Young To Love’ a distinctly sun kissed makeover. To hear the tracks, head to their MySpace.
