Normally those heading to Loch Ness go there in search of its legendary mythical monster. However between the 11-13th of June, the area will play host to thousands of eager festival goers and a clutch of some of the world’s premier artists, bands and DJs. Now in its fifth year, RockNess has yet again attracted a stellar line up which includes the welcome return of The Strokes; dance legends Fatboy Slim and Leftfield – who all occupy a headline spot across the weekend. Other notable appearances come in the form of Aphex Twin; Pendulum; Friendly Fires; Ian Brown; Vampire Weekend; Doves and Blondie to name a few.
Tucked away in a natural amphitheatre in Dores (close to Inverness – just off the A9), next to the mystical Loch Ness and set against the rolling hills of the stunning Scottish highlands, RockNess is the ultimate place to get away and experience such a visual and aural feast. The main stage is perfectly placed on the banks of the loch for revelers to enjoy the hottest live acts and DJs the world has to offer.
